Cashless Catering went live at the College on Monday 12 July 2010. From this date onwards no money can be accepted in the Refectory. Parents have been issued with ParentPay activation letters which details unique usernames and passwords, both of which must be changed when parents first log on to their website.
Also available are separate ParentPay instructions on how to activate accounts and make payments. There is also a section on merging accounts which is recommended if parents have more than one child at the College. Once parents have activated ParentPay accounts payments can be made straight away. The minimum amount that can be credited is £15.00.
All monies received are paid directly to Cucina, our on-site catering supplier. There are 3 ways to credit accounts.
From the Autumn term 2010 ParentPay will also be available to parents to pay for trips and activities throughout the College year.
Monies can be deposited as soon as Parents have activated the account.
Two automatic cash terminals have been installed in Student Reception. Students place their finger on the scanner at the cash terminal and insert money to top up their account. Accounts are credited immediately.
The terminals are programmed to accept:
Notes £20, £10, £5
Coins £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p.
Money can be deposited as soon as students have been registered on to the system ie once their fingertip has been scanned.
Will be accepted via a central Post Box located at Student Reception.
Cheques need to be made payable to “Cucina Restaurants Limited”. The students’ full name and Form Group should be written on the back of cheques.
Please note the following:
Cheques deposited by 10.55 am (end of break) will be credited that day in time for lunch.
Cheques deposited after 10.55 am will be credited the following day.
Spend Limits A daily spend limit for students of £4.00 will be programmed into the system. This limit can be increased or decreased for individual students at the parents’ written request.
Free School Meals Children who are entitled to Free School Meals will scan their fingertip at the till. Money for the Free School Meal will be credited to the account by the College.
