At Arthur Mellows we offer two pathways: A Levels and a Vocational route. Vocational subjects (BTEC and OCR Nationals) are Level 3 qualifications which are recognised by both employers and most universities.Specific entry requirements for each subject will be stated in the prospectus.
• Please select three A Levels you would like to study as part of your Post 16 options.• You can only select one subject from any Option Block.• If you wish to study Further Mathematics, you must also choose Mathematics.
• If you wish to study Vocational subjects please select two Vocational subjects.• As each Vocational subject is equivalent to one and a half A Levels you need to attend extra lessons. You must therefore select both Part 1 and Part 2 of the subject combinations. • Please note you can only select one Part 1 subject from each of the option blocks, however you may select two Part 2 subjects from the same block as long as they are both in a different column.eg you can study Applied Science (Option C and D) and Health and Social Care (Option B and C), but not Applied Science (Option C and D) and Creative Media (Option B and C).
