Excellent A Level results have been achieved by Year 13 students this year at Arthur Mellows Village College with 26% of examinations taken being A* to A grades which is a record for the College.
“We are very proud of all of our Year 13 students”, said Mike Sandeman, Head of College. “These excellent results demonstrate real commitment and character from the students and are a tribute to the College staff who have steered our students to such resounding success.  The high standard of grades achieved means that our students have once again been successful in gaining University places.”
“Our top performer was Susannah Harrison who gained 4 A*’s and is now going to read Medicinal Chemistry at York University.  Our Head Girl, Daisy Malton, secured her place at Cambridge University to read Geography at St John’s College. The following students gained 2 A* and 1 A grade: Hester Baird, Harry Halfhide, Dylan Dhokia, Dylan Moles and Joshua Chan. Aisling Ruff, Saffron Lee, Michael Scotney, Ben White, Kyle Widnall and Tyler Widnall all achieved 1A* and 2 A grades.”
